Many years ago, two Austinites, Dalton Tracee and Elliot James, made the choice to find their first home in East Austin. Despite many challenges with fixing up their home on the East Side house, they fell in love with the process of finding a place to call home.
“What if we can help people go through an experience of their own?“, and that’s how Pure Apartment locating and Pure Austin Realty was born. It was with the purpose of helping other people in Austin create their own space to call Home while having an amazing time during the process.
Perhaps that is why Pure Austin Realty doesn’t feel like simply another Real Estate Company here in Austin. Dalton and Elliot’s goal wasn’t only to help sell homes, and open doors, but open up conversations about “What does home mean” to the clients they serve. Asking those questions such as Why this Austin neighborhood?, or Why a new home or a fixer-upper?, allows the PURE Austin Team to learn about the deeper meaning in searching for a home. Pure Austin Realty wants to have those conversations and chat about those neighborhoods, and restaurants, and streets that make our city so excited to live in. Simply put, it’s all about having a TRUE and AUTHENTIC experience of finding a property while having an incredible time.

Redefining Real Estate
As a couple of Co-Founders, Dalton and Elliot considered it would be a great idea to create an Austin Real Estate Firm that redefines its conventional operations and strategies. They wanted to have their Real Estate business be synonyms with a warm, genuine, and trustworthy feeling when our clients think about buying a home or renting an apartment. This is important since a lot or out business is spread by word of mouth. A client who relocated or who is relocating needs to feel like they have a partner who truly has their back! Talking about investments, numbers and strategies is wonderful, and a deep part of our business, but so are relationships, and working together as a team to find that next home or apartment!
Elliot and Dalton both are from Austin, Tx, and share a SUPER strong connection to the city that watched them grow. So they wanted to transmit that genuine love and connection into their new company goal.
“Our greatest intention was to ensure the process of us finding a property for our clients was as fun and genuine as possible. Sharing investment strategies while having a coffee off Cesar Chavez and chatting about the neighborhoods seems way more fun than just talking about charts and graphs in a stuffy office. I think because we are so connected to our roots, we really wanted to showcase an entire Austin Experience.” - Elliot James.
