West Lake Hills + sterner Ranch + Tarrytown + Lake Travis + Enfield
Neighborhood & Lifestyle
West Austin. Home of the 360 Bridge, West Lake Hills, and the largest lakes in Austin. For lakeside dining options, The Oasis is a popular choice for its legendary patio over looking the lake, but the real treat is right off Lake Austin Blvd, and a little joint called The Hula Hut. The Hula Hut, originally owned by the family that started Chuys, is a funky Hawaiian style Tex-Mex restaurant known for their shrimp pipeline enchiladas and fish bowl margaritas! This area is the perfect place to hop on a boat or Jet Ski and spend the afternoon cruising the lake. Just in case if you are new to Austin, we often like to name things multiple times. For example, the body of water that we call: 1. Lake Travis, 2. Lake Austin 3. Ladybird lake, which is sometimes called 4. Town Lake; funny enough, all that water actually comes from the same source which is not a lake at all, but in fact, the Colorado river. “Don’t worry; you’ll catch on soon enough..”
Apartments & Accessibility
What is so great about this area is how luscious some of the hills can be. West Austin offers Emma Long Park for nature lovers. Main roads pass through the area like 360, 620, 2222, and also a ton of routes that don’t use only numbers like Bee Caves Road, Exposition Blvd, and others. Down the windy paths are beautiful, and often establish communities that normally will have resort style pools, large work out gyms, and amenities galore. It’s a great blend of upscale living with a large Texas-sized dash of tranquility.
